Worship

Lift your eyes to God in praise.

What it is

Worship is the whole-life response of God's people to His glory and grace. It includes singing, but it does not stop there (Romans 12:1; John 4:23-24).

Why God gives it

God gives worship to re-order your loves around His glory and grace. It forms wonder, gratitude, surrender, and holy attention in a heart that is always tempted to bow to lesser things and forget the One who is worthy (Romans 12:1; John 4:23-24).

Common distortions

Worship gets distorted when it becomes mood-chasing, music consumption, or a Sunday-only activity. The goal is not a certain feeling. The goal is turning toward God in spirit and truth.

How to begin in Bearing Fruit

Start with Worship Playlists when you need help lifting your eyes. You can pair that with Gratitude List if praise feels thin and you need help naming God's gifts.

Remember the gospel

God is worthy whether you feel lively or tired. In Christ, you are welcomed into the Father's presence even when your praise feels small.
