When You Can't Turn Your Mind Off
You're in bed and your mind is still at work. The night Jesus slept through a storm, the wind and the sea obeyed Him, and He was in the boat with His friends the whole time. A one-minute word and prayer for the man who can't switch off.

Read along
You're in bed. Your mind is still at work.
One evening, the disciples were out on the sea with Jesus.
Soon a violent windstorm came up, and the waves were breaking over the boat, so that it was being swamped. But Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on the cushion.
Mark 4:37-38
They woke Him and asked if He cared. He calmed the sea with a word.
Even the wind and the sea obeyed Him, and He was in the boat with them the whole time.
David prayed a line you can borrow tonight.
I will lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.
Psalm 4:8
Tell God each thing that's keeping you up, out loud if you can. Then lie down and let Him keep watch.
Father, You know what's on my mind. I hand it to You. Let me lie down and sleep in peace. In Jesus' name, amen.
Watch and pray.
